Training in any form needs to be evaluated in order to determine its benefit. Wyeknott has extensive experience in designing pre and post course tests, course evaluations and business benefit analysis.

A commonly used method of assessing training is the Kirkpatrick Levels. This is a quite wordy set of criteria, but can be re-written as follows:

• Level 1: Did you like it?
• Level 2: Did you learn from it?
• Level 3: Did you apply that learning?
• Level 4: Did the business benefit?
